Connect Claude Code

You need an Orinyx account. If you don't have one, start with the Quickstart.

1. Add the connector

claude mcp add --transport http orinyx https://orinyx-mcp.fly.dev/mcp

This adds the hosted connector over Streamable HTTP. claude mcp add writes to the local scope by default.

2. Sign in

Run /mcp inside Claude Code and authenticate. You are sent to the Orinyx sign-in page. Sign in with your Orinyx email and password.

3. Ask your agent

Copy this into Claude Code:

Call start_a_test and show me what this Orinyx account can run. Then check this order with verify_order_text, exactly as written: warfarin 5 mg by mouth daily. Show the tool's output exactly as returned.

Compare the result with the clean example on the Quickstart. Pass orders unchanged. Don't let the agent correct, complete or re-spell an order before it sends it.

Using an API key instead

The local (stdio) server, and connecting with a key instead of signing in, need an API key (ork_live_...) issued by Orinyx. A sign-up gives you the hosted connector only. See Tools and limits.
